Sörenberg offers a variety of services, including restaurants, bars, sports shops, hairdressers, a souvenir shop, a village smithy, a grocery shop open all year round, an indoor swimming pool, a petrol station, and a local butcher and cheese shop offering Entlebuch specialties. In winter, the family-friendly, snow-sure ski area is easily accessible, only 450 meters away. With an altitude of up to 2,350 m and more than 56 km of slopes, it is the largest winter sports area in the canton of Lucerne. Seventeen lifts provide access to perfectly groomed slopes for skiing and snowboarding for all levels, from beginner to advanced. Enjoy 35 km of cross-country ski runs, a 2.5 km family-friendly toboggan run, night skiing, and snow sports schools.

Flühli also has a 9-hole golf course and horseback riding adventures through the picturesque valleys of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

Take part in excursions and local handicraft courses or enjoy scooter rides from the Rossweid mountain station to Sörenberg. The area also offers an exciting 1,000-metre summer toboggan run and hiking trails totaling 300 kilometers around the Brienzer Rothorn. These trails provide breathtaking views of the Bernese Alps and surrounding landscapes. Families and children will find a variety of activities available.
