My dream to be up there once...

Have you ever dreamed of ascending a towering mountain like the Allalinhorn? Standing at 4027 meters above sea level, this peak is among the most striking in the Saas Valley and ideal for aspiring climbers. Accompanied by a mountain guide and given favorable weather, you can ascend the Allalinhorn relatively "easily" with some endurance and good footwork. Despite being a 4000-meter peak, caution and respect remain paramount on the mountain.

With two friends, we stayed in Saas-Fee and hired a guide due to limited travel options during the COVID-19 years. Our hike began at Mittelallalin Peak. Trekking across the glacier and ascending step by step was a remarkable experience. The sunshine was coupled with a strong wind. Reaching the top was emotional as we deeply respected the altitude and the unstable ground with stones. You can experience it for yourself...
